So I was down in Virgina Beach for ecse and all I could think about was Hurricane Danielle on its way.  On a last minute decision Mike Gleason and I teamed up with photog Jason Murray and decided to follow Danielle up north. I left VB around ten at night and drive up to NJ by myself. I ended up getting to my house at 5am and I had to be at newark airport for my flight at 9. I almost missed my flight but somehow made it. Springtime in New Jersey only means one thing. It starts to get very nice out and the waves start to disappear. That means its time to go down to Puerto Escondido and get barreled.  So last minute I booked a ticket.  Here are some photos from my first two mornings.  Even bigger surf is on the way too. There is plenty of southern hemi swell on the way as well Rich McMullin to capture all the epic moments. So check back for more updates.

I have been traveling this last week in Canada for the O’Neill Cold Water Classic (CWC) in Tofino British Columbia. The first stop on my trip was Tofino. The land of rain forests and beach breaks. I had a few epic sessions with some of the local boys and also some other friends from the WQS. It was fun beach breaks.
