My name is Trevor Moran (aka TeeF), I’m a photographer from the New Jersey / Philadelphia area.  

At around the ripe age of 15, it became apparent to me that my abilities on a board alone would not allow me to have a career in the surfing industry.  I decided that I should phase out my contest career and pick up a camera instead.  I began shooting my pals, and soon enough I got a few published in the local rags – prompting me to keep shooting and learning about photography.  Eventually I got published in the larger regional mags, and soon enough, the glossies.  

I decided to pursue photography to the next level and enrolled and graduated from Drexel University with a Bachelors Degree in Photography (with a minor in Business giving me the sense to engage in things like this blog as supplemental income).  The formal education in art and photography I received has had a huge impact on my work.  I’m glad that I can now consider my self an artist rather than just a surf photographer.  It’s my goal to make sure that this mentality is reflected in my photos as well.

Currently, I live in Philadelphia and work as an assistant on commerical photoshoots when I’m not shooting my own stuff.  I will be updating this blog with a large number of surf images, but will also be using it to keep people up on all different kinds of art and photography I am producing.  Of course, I love to hear feed back (good or bad) on anything I post on here, so be sure to hit me up with some comments!
