What Surfers Candy is a collaborative project that focuses on sharing surf related content with the world. The Surfers Candy project is a multi-user blog site that utilizes the work of hand selected professional surfers, photographers, and cinematagraphers all in one place. The goal has been to provide and inside look at our contributors’ lives and to share all of the stories, photos, and videos that are captured through the contributors’ travels.

Who Our contributors are chosen one at a time for their ability to produce quality imagery and stories that keep our viewers feeling they are along for the ride as each contributor follows their surf related career.

Why Primarily becasue we loving surfing and creating things. Additionally, traditional media outlets, such as magazines, often have a lag time between issues and are inherently outdated when they arrive on newstands. Surfers Candy attempts to shorten that lag time by putting the editing capabilities in the hand of those who create the stories and images. Additionally, by allowing individual surfers and photographers to write and contribute on their own, readers are able to get a much better sense of the personalities beheinds the lenses and on the boards.
