Team 7th Street takes 2nd

Written By Rob Kelly on April 21st, 2010 with 3 Comments.

At the Oakley Surfshop Challenge

7th Street had an honest team made up of our manager Brian Williams, full time employee Sean Santiago, and team riders my brother and I. In the first round we posted a total heat score of 30. Less than 2 points behind the winning team Heritage Surf Shop. Chris without a doubt was pulling the biggest manuevers of the entire event but the MVP for our team had to go to Santi. In the final he posted the score we needed with less than a minute to spare that put us in the #2 spot. Not easy when the surf was as inconsitent as it was in the final round.

Team Heritage and 7th street watch as Sean Santiago gets the big score we needed in the final seconds of the contest.

I probably wrote this post on my blog before Gesler posted his on here. It would have been a dick move to post this right after Gesler’s post. Jaime exports posts from my blog personal to surferscandy.com so I dont know when they r going to appear on here.

to be honest…..Chris Kelly is better than Rob with bigger balls and a surfing style that dose not make my eyes bleed.
