Winter is here and so far it hasn’t disappointed. The El Nino weather pattern that we are currently experiencing has helped produce the kind of swell/wind combinations that we all hope for each year.
After the good Fall we’ve experienced it’s hard to believe that Winter, as early into it as we are, has been as good as it has so far. Here’s hoping the new year continues to produce!
I’ve put together some photos from the past few swells for you to enjoy…

Rob Kelly boosting on LBI.

Randy Townsend setting up another barrel.

A three-and-a-half hour drive with Gesler from Philly to O.C. in the blizzard so that we could Dawn Patrol it the next morning

Worth the drive.

Randy Townsend again in familiar territory.

LBI charger Danny Mears.

Something worth running to.

Back in O.C., Andrew Gesler lets one fly.

This one wasn't fun for Ryan Daly or myself...

Brad Moran nabs a sweet one on an out-of-the-way sandbar we stumbled upon.

Jamie Moran stalling for the barrel.

Josh Law getting slotted as the swell fades.

go brad!
Freaking awesome! Love the photos, good job Rich. Those waves look fun, with the exception of that monster close out that worked you…eeeks!
2009 was definitely a great year and it certainly went out with a bang !
