I just surfed my brains out for the past week. Paddling against a rip that just tore my arms off basically, was the best feeling ever because the reward was so insane. Every winter for the past few we gather up at the JERSEY SHORE’S most famous strip of beach and bars called, Seaside. All the lame MTV jokes aside the town is rad. We always get some sick surf and there’s always some stuff going on the side that makes things interesting. This year besides all the boys getting together to surf, Seaside was having it’s annual Polar Bear Plunge. The town was mobbed to say the least and the usually quite streets were bustling. 4000 estimated people drinking and raging all day from morning to night.

Everyone by now knows how severe the crisis is in Haiti. Last night the boys got together and held a huge fundraiser in Haiti’s honor and Steven Cookies was packed to capacity and had an amazing turn out. There was a silent auction, raffles, food , drinks and more smiles, laughs, and great stories to be had. The entire surf community and our surrounding communities really reached into their pockets and spared no expense in helping Haiti and it was awesome to be there and take part in it. With another flat spell upon us, it seems like the only thing to do since it’s so cold and we’ve been getting ponded with snow, was to ride. I got a call from Real Watersports team manager, Jason, a few months back and said we were going to be getting all the athletes together to crash at Real’s house in PR.
