Modern Collective changes our sport as we know.

I was in Santa Cruz for the Cold Water Classic and was sick as I’ve ever been. Swine flu kicked my ass on my honeymoon and followed me to the lane. I swear I wouldn’t wish the flu on anyone. I was barely able to paddle let alone surf in my heat. There was an amazing bright spot in the week though. I was so excited to have a chance to get to see the premiere of Modern Collective and in one word it was: FUTURISTIC. The sport is reaching boundaries only once known in video games and in our wildest imaginations. Jordy literally is capable of anything anyone on earth can think in their minds. Airs, flips, combo flips, backside straight air punts to double grab supermans are literally pulled back to back to back in numerous sections. All the stars are setting the distance between themselves and rest of the entire surfing world. Makes me  wonder where the likes of Luke Davis and the Kalohe Andinos will pick up at.
