“The Dog Days Are Over?”

What do you do when you show up for your flight and you miss it by 5 minutes? Have a cocktail at 9 am of course. But anyway. I never really knew how much work goes into “hunting” hurricanes until this last trip. Last minute decisions, spot changes, wind forecasts, all led us to the same question. “Where do we go from here?”. A question that was brought up more then asking
I recently ventured down to the probably one of the coolest little destinations I’ve been to. Wilmington, NC, where I met up with Ben Bourgeois. A burrito…
It’s 95 degrees out at 10:30 am. I don’t want to leave my house. It’s been flat for a bit now and there’s nothing much else to do. I’m pretty sure ren & stimpy have been on repeat for the last 2 hours. It’s days like today that make me just want to lay around and do absolutely nothing with my life.

The first session I got to document was to good to be true. Warm weather, perfect morning light, friends trading off on every wave. There really is no better feeling then filming at home in…
